The Prospect

We are seeking a strategic, commercially driven finance executive to sit within the Leadership Team and drive value creation across a large, complex and purpose-led organisation at a pivotal stage of its evolution.

This is more than a traditional FP&A; role. We're looking for someone who can identify opportunities, challenge existing thinking, and drive meaningful change across systems, processes, people and ways of working. As a key member of the leadership team, you will shape the future direction of the finance function while influencing enterprise-wide performance and decision-making.

Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the organisation's financial planning and analysis function, providing strategic commercial insights, driving accountability, and partnering with executives to deliver sustainable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Leading enterprise-wide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.
- Partnering with executives and senior leaders to improve business performance and accountability.
- Delivering commercial insights that influence strategic and operational decision-making.
- Leading investment analysis, business case development and financial modelling for major initiatives.
- Identifying opportunities to improve organisational performance, efficiency and value creation.
- Driving transformation across finance systems, reporting frameworks, planning processes and team capability.
- Building a high-performing, commercially focused FP&A; and business partnering function.
- Providing constructive challenge to leaders and stakeholders to ensure robust decision-making and financial discipline.
- Leading change initiatives that improve the way finance supports and partners with the broader business.

About You





You are a strategic finance leader with a track record of delivering results in large, complex organisations. While your technical credentials are strong, your real strength lies in your ability to influence, challenge and transform.

You will bring:

- Extensive experience leading financial planning, forecasting, reporting and business partnering functions.
- Demonstrated success leading finance transformation, operating model improvements, system implementations or significant process change.
- A proven ability to identify inefficiencies, challenge established practices and implement pragmatic solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience supporting complex investment and strategic decisions.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the confidence to engage, influence and challenge at executive level.
- Experience building, leading and developing high-performing teams through periods of change.
- CA, CPA or equivalent qualifications, with tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline.
