We are seeking an experienced and proactive professional with strong skills in contract administration, financial oversight and stakeholder engagement to join our Waste & Resource Recovery team. You will be confident managing a range of internal and external service agreements, including asset maintenance, ICT and operational service delivery contracts.

You will have a strong understanding of governance, regulatory compliance and commercial practices, with the ability to build productive partnerships and identify opportunities to improve service delivery. You will enjoy working collaboratively, solving problems and driving practical improvements that support efficient waste management services and positive customer outcomes.

Importantly, you will be able to balance operational needs with Council, State and Regional waste strategies, ensuring services are transparent, accountable and focused on continuous improvement.

About the Role

- The role supports effective and compliant waste services by:

- Ensuring financial accountability and contract compliance.

- Building strong relationships with internal teams, contractors, regulators and community partners to improve service delivery and align with Council, State and Regional waste strategies.

- Managing Public Place bin services using data to improve efficiency and service outcomes.

- Improving dashboards, reporting and data insights to support operational performance and informed decision-making.

Skills & Experience

- Proven team leadership and ability to build strong internal and external partnerships.

- Experience in contract and contractor management, including reporting, financial reconciliation and compliance.

- Strong data management, reporting and software system skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for financial tracking and reporting.





- Experience improving dashboards and using data to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

- Workforce planning experience to support efficient service delivery.
