About the role

Finance Manager to oversee the day-to-day finance function and provide clear financial reporting to our directors. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can manage the detail of a busy construction business while keeping cash flow, reporting and financial obligations on track.

Key responsibilities

- Manage accounts payable and receivable, creditor and debtor records, payments and bank reconciliations

- Process payroll, superannuation and payroll tax, and reconcile leave balances and provisions

- Coordinate subcontractor and project securities, including bank guarantees, surety bonds and return dates

- Maintain cash flow forecasts, overhead budgets and project finance records

- Complete month-end journals, reconciliations and the Jobpac close process, including work in progress and unearned revenue

- Prepare monthly management reports and BAS/IAS information for lodgement by external accountant





- Coordinate insurance renewals, workers compensation declarations and financial reporting for licensing

- Manage end-of-financial-year payroll, Single Touch Payroll finalisation, TPAR and the Jobpac rollover, working with external accountant on annual requirements

About you

- Experience in a finance management or senior accounting role, ideally in construction or a project-based business

- Robust working knowledge of payroll, reconciliations, cash flow forecasting and month-end reporting

- The ability to manage competing deadlines and maintain accurate records across multiple projects

- Confidence working directly with directors, project teams, brokers and external accountants

- Must have Jobpac experience
