About the role

Fluidquip Australia is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and commercially focused National Business Development Manager - Food, Beverage & Pharmaceuticals to build upon our success in supplying water treatment equipment to the Food, Beverage & Pharmaceutical (FB&P;) industries throughout Australia. Building on our success in these industries, we see significant potential for growth as our existing clients expand and refresh technology. We also foresee significant opportunities in building relationships with new clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing our FB&P; portfolio and building strong client relationships across Australia. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be part of a supportive team in a growing SME that values initiative, collaboration, and a commitment to customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities

- Servicing and maintaining relationships with existing customers

- Proactively acquiring new customers

- Initiating technical sales visits and presentations

- Quotation and tender preparation

- Maintaining accurate customer and system information in our CRM

- Preparation of monthly sales forecasts

- Preparation of marketing plans in liaison with internal colleagues

- Attendance at trade exhibitions

- Liaise with field service and support technicians to maximise customer satisfaction

About you

The role will suit an experienced, self-motivated professional who is interested in developing expertise in industrial water treatment and is committed to helping our customers succeed. You must be prepared to devote significant time and effort in order to drive sales into new and existing markets.



The role will require extensive travel within Australia and occasional overseas travel may be required. The successful candidate will be the outward face of the company to the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.

Strong business development, communication, and organisation skills are critical. This is not an entry-level business development position - we're seeking a commercially astute professional who understands how to navigate complex customer environments, identify growth opportunities and deliver long-term value. Ideally, you possess >5 years of experience in a sales or BDM role in a technology-driven B2B supplier to the FB&P; industries. Previous experience in, or knowledge of, the water treatment sector, particularly in the fields of UV and ozone capital equipment, will be highly regarded. A lucrative, uncapped commission structure is offered to attract the best possible candidates.
