MAYDAY Recruitment is partnering with a well-known global retail brand to find an HR Support professional to join their team on an initial 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and supportive HR team during a key peak period, gaining hands-on exposure across a broad range of HR functions, with a strong focus on Employee Relations and case management. You’ll be involved in everything from day-to-day HR support and employee queries through to ER matters, investigations, grievances and supporting managers, giving you the opportunity to build your HR experience in a large, fast-paced organisation.

What you'll be doing
No two days will look exactly the same. You’ll play a key role in supporting the HR team across a wide-ranging HR & ER caseload, including:

- Reviewing and drafting Records of Discussion
- Supporting and conducting ER investigations




- Preparing investigation scripts and meeting notification letters
- Drafting investigation outcome letters
- Responding to employee grievances
- Supporting managers through lower-level ER matters
- Assisting with time & attendance, abandonment, conduct and inappropriate behaviour cases
- Providing broader HR support across a busy and high-volume environment

What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience in HR, HR Advisory or Employee Relations support
- Has some exposure to ER investigations and ideally has run investigations
- Is confident dealing with sensitive and sometimes challenging employee matters
- Has excellent written communication and attention to detail
- Can work confidently in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Has Workday experience – highly regarded
- Has experience with Award interpretation – ideal
- Comes from a retail or similarly fast-paced environment – a bonus
