The Chance

We are looking for Diploma Qualified Educators and/or Early Childhood Teachers to join our Chisholm team.

We are open to discussing a range of employment arrangements, including full-time and part-time opportunities, depending on your experience, qualifications and availability.

The Role

As a Diploma Qualified Educator or Early Childhood Teacher at Tillys Chisholm,



you will contribute to providing high-quality education and care while supporting children's individual learning, development, safety and wellbeing.

You will work collaboratively with your team to create engaging learning environments and meaningful experiences that encourage children to explore, investigate, communicate and develop confidence in their abilities.

Depending on your qualification and role, you will contribute to curriculum planning, implementation, assessment and reflection, while supporting children's learning through intentional and spontaneous experiences.

About You

You bring heart, curiosity and a genuine passion for early learning. You are committed to creating meaningful experiences where children feel confident, capable, respected and supported.

You will have:

- A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or an approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification, or be currently completing your qualification.

- Completion of the National Child Safety Training via Geccko, with a current certificate of completion.

- A commitment to child and cultural safety.

- An understanding of child protection and reporting obligations.

- A collaborative, inclusive approach and a desire to make a positive difference.

- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts between 6.30am and 6.30pm, where required.

- A current Working with Children Check NSW.

- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates.

- A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

- Experience in planning, implementing,



assessing and evaluating learning experiences that respond to children's interests, strengths and individual learning needs.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- A genuine commitment to child safety, including zero tolerance to harm or risk of harm to all children and a commitment to a culture of reporting harm or risk of harm.

For Early Childhood Teachers

ECT applicants will also bring:

- An approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification recognised under the relevant Australian regulatory requirements.

- Knowledge and understanding of the EYLF and contemporary early childhood teaching practices.

- Experience developing and implementing intentional teaching strategies and curriculum.

- Confidence in leading curriculum planning, assessment and reflective practice.

- A commitment to supporting children's transition to school and developing strong partnerships with families and the wider community.
