About This Role

The Maintenance Coordinator role works as part of the Property & Procurement team to coordinate maintenance requests and work orders to ensure that Vasey RSL Care buildings, plant, equipment and facilities are maintained to the required standards. It also works closely with our maintenance team and contractors to coordinate planned preventative Maintenance, refurbishment, and compliance works to our residential aged care rooms, affordable housing units and V Centre apartments.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be skilled at getting a great job done in a timely manner for a reasonable price. You can juggle multiple tasks over your week, with a strong attention to detail and ability to follow up to close out essential work.



You are person-focused and build collaborative working relationships with internal staff and contractors to get the job done.

You will have:

- Previous experience working in, or knowledge of the Facilities Management, building or construction industry.

- Proven ability to coordinate services for building maintenance tasks.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and quality outcomes.
- High level of organisational and planning skills.
- Intermediate to advanced level computer skills.
- Proven effective and kind interpersonal, communication skills.
- Satisfactory completion of a National Police Records Check (arranged by Vasey RSL Care).
- Valid working rights which will be subject to a VEVO check.
