Senior QA Analyst – Cloud-Based SaaS Product

Are you a Senior QA professional who takes pride in quality, enjoys getting into the detail and wants to influence how software is designed, tested and released?

Our client is an innovative technology business delivering a cloud-based customer experience and contact centre platform built on Amazon Connect and AWS. With continued product growth underway, they are looking for an experienced Senior QA Analyst to take ownership of quality across major features and releases.

This is a senior, hands-on position for someone who enjoys exploratory and manual testing but can also look beyond individual test cases to identify risk, improve processes and advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle.

The Prospect

Working closely with developers, product owners, UX designers, support teams and senior technology leaders, you will lead QA activity from initial planning and scoping through to release and retrospective.

You’ll remain close to the product—executing tests,



investigating issues and documenting defects—while also influencing requirements, improving test coverage and supporting the broader team to deliver reliable, user-friendly software.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Lead QA activity for complex, high-risk features and product releases

- Develop and execute structured manual test cases and exploratory testing plans

- Review user stories and ensure requirements and acceptance criteria are clear and testable

- Identify quality risks and coverage gaps early in the development lifecycle

- Investigate issues using browser developer tools, application logs and JSON responses

- Log detailed, reproducible defects and follow them through to resolution

- Verify fixes and complete regression testing to minimise post-release issues

- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing and communicate release readiness

- Run retrospectives following critical defects and ensure lessons are shared and actioned

- Develop reusable QA templates, test plans, checklists and onboarding resource
