We are seeking a protected and hardworking driver with prior experience in driving and operating of Skip trucks to join our team. Hours range from 24-32 hours a week dependant on performance.
Key responsibilities
- Operating machinery (Skip crane)
- Truck driving
- Delivery and pick up of skip bins to and from customers
- Safely securing bins to truck
- Cash handling
- Customer service
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Adhering to safety guidelines
- Assisting with general maintenance tasks as needed
About you
- Previous experience in a similar role required
- MINIMUM MR License required
- MUST be able to drive a manual transmission
- Forklift license (preferred but not essential)
- White card (preferred but not essential)
- Applicants must have their own means of transportation to and from work
- Physical fitness and ability to perform certain manual labour tasks
- Able to work as part of a team and independently
- Solid attention to detail and ability to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Commitment to workplace safety and following safety procedures
- Monday to Saturday, 6:00 am to 2:30-3:30 pm (Half days on Saturdays)
