Prosperity Painting is a two-time Master Painters Award winner (2024 and 2025) delivering high quality commercial, institutional, and residential painting across Brisbane. We are growing deliberately, and winning the right work at the right margin is at the centre of that. We need a sales focussed Estimator who knows the painting industry, understands the Queensland market, and can price work accurately enough, and persuasively enough, to win it.

About the Role

This is a focused estimating role with real ownership, and it suits someone who thinks commercially, not just technically. You will produce accurate, market-based quotes across our commercial and institutional pipeline, work closely with the Head of Operations and Sales Manager, and be expected to close tenders, not just submit them. Whether your background is in painting estimating or in sales and business development within a trades or construction setting, if you can price a job properly and you know how to win it, this role is built for you. You will also contribute to building the estimating systems and processes that will carry the business forward.

- Conduct takeoffs and prepare detailed estimates across painting scopes

- Apply current market knowledge to produce competitive, margin-conscious rates





- Identify scope risks and exclusions before they reach site

- Build relationships with decision makers and position submissions to win, not just to quote

- Identify and develop new business opportunities within our target sectors, not just respond to what lands on the desk

- Contribute to refining estimating systems and processes over time

What We Are Looking For

- Demonstrated experience either as a painting or trades estimator, or in a sales or business development role tendering and winning commercial or institutional contracts

- Strong knowledge of Queensland market rates, labour costs, and productivity, or a fast ability to learn them

- Proficiency with estimating and takeoff software, or a robust track record picking up technical systems quickly

- Experience tendering commercial and institutional contracts

- A proven ability to build relationships, close tenders, and win work
