Role: Junior School Classroom Teacher
Term: Temporary 2027 contract (1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027), with the possibility of extension

Full-time or part-time by negotiation
Remuneration: as per Independent Schools NSW (Teachers) Cooperative Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025

Essential Criteria

- Kindergarten to Year 6 Teaching Qualifications with a demonstrated ability to use evidence-informed practices and student data to deliver differentiated, high-quality, explicit literacy and numeracy programs.

- Hold current, or be eligible to obtain, NSW Teacher Registration prior to commencement.

- Hold a current, valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC).





- Demonstrated commitment to child safety, wellbeing, and adherence to child protection legislation and school policy.

- Demonstrated capacity to organise and coordinate high-quality extra-curricula programs that enrich student learning and support whole-school priorities and initiatives.

- Proven ability to facilitate a positive learning environment that cultivates curious, critical thinkers and that inspires deeper learning.

- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work as part of a team, and establish effective partnerships with students, staff and families.

- Demonstrated ability to create and maintain positive, inclusive and engaging learning environments through effective classroom management, evidence-informed wellbeing practices and high expectations for student learning and behaviour.

- Proven demonstrated knowledge of integrating creative technology across the curriculum.
