About the role

Permanent part-time position for an experienced Dental Assistant in a modern boutique specialist orthodontic practice. This is a cross-trained position working Wednesdays 9am to 5pm and Fridays 9am to 5pm, around 14 hours a week, with additional shifts regularly offered by agreement and genuine room for your hours to grow. You will work across both chairside and front desk duties.

Key responsibilities

- Chairside assisting across orthodontic treatments with doctors
- iTero scanning, intraoral photos and records
- Sterilisation and infection control to protocol
- Running the front desk on rostered days: phones, online enquiries, booking, payments and end-of-day reconciliation in Ortho2 Edge
- Stepping chairside as cover when the Senior Dental Assistant is away

About you

- Certificate III in Dental Assisting, or at least 12 months' chairside experience, essential
- Orthodontic experience highly regarded
- Warm and unflappable with kids,



teens and parents
- Reliable on Wednesdays and Thursdays year-round, including Thursday evenings
