The Renton Family Trust Aged Care is currently seeking a Registered Nurse for our residential aged care facility, Algester Lodge. Algester Lodge is a well established facilitywhich provides residential care to residents with high care, low care and dementia care needs.Ourcompany promotesoutstanding organisational culture and prides itself on providing work life balance to our employees.

Registered Nurse Positions:

The primary purpose of this positions is to provide a high level of clinical care to our residents and delegate care needs appropriately. The successful applicant must be available to work a mixture of afternoon and night duty shifts.

Key responsibilities include:

Assist and direct the AN staff and delegate care as needed

Provide clinical care to individual residents to meet their needs

Ensure secure and effective nursing practices are maintained

Report to the Management on key issues





Complying with Accreditation Standards and working within a continuous improvement framework

Complete comprehensive documentation and clinical recordings

To be successful in this role you will hold a current registration with AHPRA and hold an NDIS Workers Screening, or be willing to obtain one. Experience in aged care, geriatric nursing, and/or dementia care would be an advantage but not required as full training will be provided. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Pay rates are determined based on level of experience, therefore experienced RN's must supply a statement of hours to determine level of pay entitlements.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working with elderly people and have “Empathy” with their situation. This person must be able to work as a team member, use initiative, and have patience and respect for the rights of the individual.
