Ford & Doonan Malaga is looking for an experienced Residential Sales Manager to take ownership of and grow our residential air conditioning sales division. This is a senior, hands‑on position for someone who knows the WA HVAC industry, can lead from the front and wants genuine autonomy to grow a residential sales business. You'll manage our existing residential sales team while continuing to design, quote and sell your own projects.

Key responsibilities

Take responsibility for the residential sales process from initial enquiry through to sale and handover, working closely with our administration and operations teams to provide a seamless customer experience

Manage, support and motivate our existing residential sales team

Personally design, quote and sell residential AC systems including ducted reverse-cycle, splits, multi-splits and smaller VRV/VRF applications

Ensure both personal and team KPIs are consistently exceeded

Improve sales processes, conversion, productivity and team performance

Build long‑term customer and industry relationships and actively generate referrals and repeat business

Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers

Represent Ford & Doonan Malaga at trade nights, supplier functions and industry events

Identify new opportunities to grow the residential division

About you

Minimum 5 years' HVAC sales experience

Air conditioning industry experience – ESSENTIAL

Experience within the Western Australian HVAC market

Ability to confidently design and sell ducted, split, multi-split and smaller VRV/VRF systems

Proven history of achieving and exceeding sales targets

Ability to manage, motivate and develop a sales team

Excellent relationship‑building skills with a strong focus on referrals and repeat business

Good commercial awareness and professional communication and presentation

Confidence dealing with customers,



suppliers and industry partners
