About the role

We are seeking a passionate Aged Care Support Worker to join our team at Pearl Home Care Brisbane South. In this casual role, you will provide compassionate care and assistance to our elderly clients in the Brisbane South area. Your responsibilities will include personal care, cleaning, and other duties to help our clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

What you'll be doing

- Providing personal care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance

- Preparing and serving meals, and assisting with feeding if required

- Performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and tidying

- Accompanying and transporting clients to appointments or outings

- Engaging clients in social activities and providing companionship

- Reporting any changes in client's condition or needs to the care team

- Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

What we're looking for

- A Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification

- Previous experience working in aged care or a similar community services role
- A caring, patient, and empathetic nature with a genuine interest in supporting the elderly

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills




- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation

- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and comply with all relevant regulations
