Adjuvant Event Services is a conference and exhibition consultancy, specialising in content. Our team of Conference Managers act as freelance content specialists, working within larger event teams of associations and professional event organisers to help deliver some of the most impactful conferences and exhibitions in Australia and Asia Pacific. We are a small start-up business operating fully remotely out of Western Australia.
Reporting directly to the Founder Director, this is a newly created role for a highly organised individual who would like to make their mark on a growing WA events business.
We’re looking for somebody who is proactive, organised and a great problem solver with good attention to detail. A background in project management, operations or administration would be helpful. Direct previous experience is not necessary, but to be successful in this role you’ll need to show:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- An independent, practical approach to problem solving
- Ability to build and improve processes
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Collaborative and professional approach to remote working
Key responsibilities
Design and implement systems and processes for a growing start-up, including office space,
audit and improve technology capabilities (software and hardware), other systems improvement as required.
Monitoring and applying for appropriate business grants.
Client event operations as required, including venue and supplier management, stakeholder communications and onsite event management.
Build relationships with supporting vendors and other event stakeholders such as Perth Business Events.
Work flexibly across different client organisations and systems, maintaining Adjuvant’s core values of Trust, Respect, Integrity and Flexibility.
