Role Description The Sales Associate is a full time, on-site role based in Melbourne, VIC, supporting the showroom and sales operations for apaiser’s luxury bathware collections. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting and engaging clients, understanding their project requirements, and presenting tailored product solutions that align with design, functionality, and budget needs. The role involves preparing quotes and sales orders, maintaining accurate customer and project records, and coordinating with design, production, and logistics teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
The Sales
Associate will help maintain showroom presentation standards, manage product displays and samples, and support inventory checks and stock inquiries.
This role also includes business deveopment . The making of appointments,
presenting to interior designers, architects, and deveopers. following up on leads, nurturing relationships with designers, architects, and homeowners, and contributing to sales targets while representing apaiser’s brand values and commitment to quality and sustainability.
Qualifications
- Experience in retail or showroom sales, ideally within luxury interiors, bathware, or related design-focused industries.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to understand and respond to diverse client needs.
- At least 4 years experience in business development, with a solid knowledge of the interior designer community!
- Effective communication and presentation abilities, including confident verbal and written communication with clients and internal teams.
- Basic proficiency with CRM systems, POS tools, and standard office software to manage sales documentation and client records.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in handling quotes, orders, and follow-ups.
- Interest in design, architecture, or interiors, with an eye for aesthetics and the ability to discuss style, materials, and finishes with clients.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Melbourne, VIC, including occasional weekend or after-hours work as needed for clients or events.
- Previous experience meeting sales targets and working in a team-oriented environment is advantageous.
- Relevant qualification in sales, business, design, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
