About the Role

We are looking for compassionate female Disability Support Workers to support a high-care participant located in Maroubra.

The role involves providing respectful, person-centred support with daily personal care and household activities. We are looking for reliable workers who are confident supporting participants with Personal Care and who can work professionally and respectfully in a private home workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Personal care and daily living support
- Assistance with showering, dressing and other personal-care tasks
- General domestic assistance, including light cleaning and household tasks
- Supporting the participant with dignity, privacy and choice
- Following the participant's care/support plan and established procedures
- Maintaining accurate support notes and communicating any concerns appropriately
- Working safely and collaboratively with another Support Worker, participant, family and care team

About You





We are seeking workers who are:

- Female
- Passionate to in providing personal care
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Compassionate and respectful
- Comfortable working independently in a participant's home
- Able to follow support plans and instructions
- Available for flexible shifts, including weekdays and/or weekends

Desirable

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or a related qualification
- Experience supporting participants with complex or high-care needs
- Manual handling and hoist experience
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check, where applicable
- First Aid and CPR
