Receptionist

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well established Perth based group operating across mining services, civil and construction, and plant and equipment hire for a Receptionist to join their newly fitted out Perth CBD office.

This is a newly created position and an opportunity to take ownership of the day to day running of the office while being the first point of contact for all visitors and clients.

The Role

Reporting to the Administration Manager / Project Manager, you will be responsible for keeping the office running smoothly, including:

- Front of house reception and managing incoming calls,
- Supplier, stock and office management
- Travel bookings and meeting room coordination
- Maintaining registers, records and documentation
- Supporting office events and general administration

About You

We are looking for an organised, practical and professional Receptionist who can work confidently and independently.

Essential:

- Experience in office administration, reception or office coordination
- Confident using Outlook, Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident communicating with site crews and clients




- Unrestricted Australian work rights
- Current WA driver's licence

The Chance

- Perth CBD location
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Approximately 12 weeks temporary, with a strong view to permanent employment
- Permanent salary of $65,000–$70,000 + superannuation, depending on experience could be increased.
- Business attire

This is not a typical temporary assignment. Our client is seeking a permanent-quality candidate who is looking for a long-term opportunity and can take ownership of the office from day one.

Candidates will be required to provide:

- Two written references from direct former managers
- Right-to-work verification
- Basic Word, Excel and Outlook skills testing
- Confirmation of a current WA driver's licence
