Whether you're recommending a new read, helping someone navigate technology, supporting a children's activity or welcoming a new member, you'll play an important role in connecting our community with the services and resources they need.
What You'll Be Doing
- Creating positive and welcoming experiences for library customers
- Assisting with loans, returns, memberships and reservations
- Helping customers access technology, digital resources and library services
- Maintaining attractive, organised and accessible collections
- Supporting the delivery of library programs, events and community activities
- Assisting with children's and youth initiatives
- Working across our library network to support service delivery
- Contributing ideas that help us continually improve our services
What You'll Bring

Essential Requirements
- Working With Children Check
- Studying towards, willing to undertake, or completed a Library and Information Services qualification (or equivalent)

- Previous public library experience
- Current Driver's Licence

- Package: $63,976 - $67,812 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation.
- Hours of work: Permanent part-time opportunities are available.
Applicants must be available to work a range of shifts across a 7-day roster between 8:00am and 9:00pm to support the operational needs of our libraries. Weekend penalty rates are paid in accordance with Council's Enterprise Agreement.
