Salary range: $104,083 to $119,236 per annum + 13.5% superannuation.
About the role
The Project Manager – Capital Works Delivery is accountable for planning, managing and delivering a package of multiple projects within the City of Hobart's rolling three-year capital works program, ensuring successful delivery from initiation through to formal project handover.
Role accountabilities include:
• Leading and managing small to medium infrastructure projects and project teams from initiation to completion.
• Planning, monitoring and controlling project scope, cost, schedule and risks across multiple concurrent projects.
• Managing stakeholder engagement, procurement activities and project governance requirements.
• Applying the City of Hobart's Project and Portfolio Management Framework and contributing to continuous improvement of project management practices.
• Supporting and mentoring less experienced project managers and engineers.

About you
You are an experienced project management professional with a solid track record of delivering infrastructure or capital works projects from concept through to completion. You bring excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships, negotiate effectively and work collaboratively to achieve outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• A qualification in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Significant experience managing and delivering small to medium infrastructure projects.
• Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, risk management, contract administration and capital works delivery.
• Proven ability to manage project risks, competing priorities and resource challenges.
• Demonstrated leadership capability with experience mentoring and supporting team members.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project management tools.
• A current driver's licence.
