As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a reliable, hands-on Grounds & Maintenance Attendant to help keep our property presented to the highest standard, inside and out.

About the Role

Reporting to the Grounds & Maintenance Manager, the Grounds & Maintenance Attendant is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the gardens, car park and all outdoor areas of the hotel, ensuring our grounds always make a great first impression on arrival. You will work independently, take pride in your work, and be a reliable member of a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine gardening and landscaping, including weeding, mowing and hedge trimming, rubbish removal
- Maintain the car park and terrace areas to a consistently high standard
- Clean, maintain and correctly store all tools and equipment
- Notify the Grounds & Maintenance Manager when materials or supplies need ordering
- Provide driver support as required




- Adhere to the safe use of chemicals and follow safe work practices
- Maintain high personal grooming and presentation standards
- Common area cleaning
- Assist with other related duties as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Working knowledge of how to safely operate gardening tools and equipment.
- Must have a valid NSW Driver’s Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- A solid understanding of workplace health & safety and PPE requirements
- Excellent communication skills and a solid work ethic
- A friendly, professional manner and pride in your presentation
- A genuine team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
