General Labourer

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team at a busy sawmill.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, working outdoors and being part of a team. Previous sawmill experience is an advantage but not essential , as training will be provided to the right person.

This position is a permanent position and the hours will be 7am start and a 4pm finish Monday - Thursday. 7am-1:30pm finish on Fridays!

Duties include:

- General labouring and manual handling
- Assisting with timber processing and production
- Stacking, sorting and moving timber
- Keeping the yard and work areas clean and organised
- Operating basic equipment and machinery after training
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Other general duties as required

About you:

- Reliable, punctual and willing to work hard
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Safety-conscious and able to follow instructions
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a sawmill, yard, construction or similar environment is desirable




- Forklift or machinery experience is an advantage
