Dual Aged Care & NDIS Support Workers Rockhampton

Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? GCLA seeks compassionate, reliable and flexible Support Workers to join our growing Rockhampton team.

This role provides support across both NDIS Disability Services and Aged Care, including Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), helping customers live safely, independently and with dignity.

About the Role

As a Dual Aged Care & NDIS Support Worker you will:

- Personal care and daily living assistance

- Domestic assistance and meal preparation

- Community access and social participation

- Transport to appointments and activities

- Medication assistance (where trained)

- Supporting customers to achieve their individual goals

- Implementing individual support plans

- Building positive, respectful relationships with customers and their families

This role will support customers living in the community as well as customers residing in Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA).

Working Hours

This role operates on a 24/7 roster.



Applicants must have broad availability, including:

- Weekdays and weekends

- Public holidays

- Early mornings, afternoons and evenings

- Overnight and sleepover shifts

Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate genuine flexibility and ongoing availability.

Essential Requirements

- Genuine passion for supporting older people and people living with disability

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)

- Blue Card (Working with Children Check)

- Current Australian Driver Licence

- Reliable, comprehensively insured motor vehicle

- Willingness to work across a 24/7 roster, including sleepover shifts

Desirable

- Certificate III or IV in Disability or Aged Care

- Previous experience in Disability Support and/or Aged Care

- Experience supporting people with complex support needs
