Qualified Electrician & Apprentice in Air-conditioning & Refrigeration

This is a dual-trade apprenticeship combining your existing electrical qualifications with Air Conditioning & Refrigeration training. You will work alongside qualified/factory-trained, specialist HVACR technicians on state-of-the-art climate control systems across residential, commercial, and precision data centre environments. Your existing electrical skills are highly valued, and you will fast-track your knowledge through hands-on field training and structured learning through CIT (Canberra Institute of Technology).

Key responsibilities

Assist with installing, commissioning, servicing, and maintaining diverse residential, commercial, and precision data centre cooling systems

Diagnose, service, and repair complex HVAC-R equipment

Read and interpret specialized technical drawings, schematics, and refrigeration diagrams

Work in a highly professional, supportive, and energetic team environment

About you

Current Australian Electrical Licence (Unrestricted)

Strong work ethic, attention to detail,



and genuine motivation to master a second trade

Excellent problem-solving skills and customer-first attitude

White Card and Asbestos Awareness certificates (or willingness to obtain them)
