Quality Hotel Robertson Gardens is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Full-Time Commis Chefs and Demi Chefs to join our growing kitchen team. Working alongside experienced chefs, you will assist in the preparation and service of high-quality food across our à la carte restaurant, buffet service and function operations.

Key responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation and service while maintaining high quality standards
- Prepare and cook menu items under the guidance of senior chefs
- Assist in the delivery of food service across our à la carte restaurant, buffet operations and functions.
- Ensure food presentation and consistency meet venue standards
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
- Follow all food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
- Assist with stock rotation, storage and inventory management




- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations

About you

- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment is preferred
- Qualifications in Commercial Cookery or currently undertaking studies are advantageous
- Strong passion for food and hospitality
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn
- Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining high standards
