Watsons Chemists Newport is a brand-new independent boutique pharmacy located in the newly developed Newport Marketplace. Situated on the waterfront inNewportand surrounded by a comprehensive health precinct, IGA supermarket, hair and beauty salons and popular cafes and restaurants; this is a location with a view to capture anyone’s attention!

Due to rapid and continued store growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic, driven and caring individual to join our team as an Experienced Dispensary Technician/Pharmacy Assistant .

The positions available is part-time (24 hours per week) and the roster will involve three weekday shifts with night-time closes 6:30pm.

Desired Attributes

- Community pharmacy experience (Minfos experience highly regarded)
- S2/S3 trained applicants or holders of certificate III in community pharmacy highly regarded
- Deliver exceptional front shop customer service
- Be willing to undertake training to and sell Gold Lotto products
- Have a caring and empathetic nature with a passion for health and wellness.




- Be able to work independently and as a member of the pharmacy team
- Exceptional communication and people skills
- Demonstrate a great work ethic; be reliable, honest, hardworking, and accountable for results
- Driver’s license, reliable car and willingness to assist with occasional local deliveries if needed
- Assist with some Webster packing
