YHA Sydney Central

YHA Sydney Central is located the heart of the city centre and close to all the action. This award-winning hostel, with indoor pool offers guests panoramic views of the city from the rooftop outdoor area. YHA Sydney Central offers shared dormitory accommodation as well as private rooms. The property has two commercial kitchens, spacious dining rooms, an underground bar, cinema room, cafe and lounge areas and a guest laundry.

About the role

We are seeking Receptionists or a Front Desk Extraordinaire to join the Team. This role involves helping us create a friendly and cheerful atmosphere, responding to guest inquiries with knowledgeable local advice and recommendations, managing efficient check-ins and check-outs.This position could be part time (with minimum of 15 hours per week) or Casual, but we do require you to have availability for weekdays (especially Monday to Wednesday) as well as weekends.

What we are looking for

- Previous experience in front desk,



reception or customer service in an accommodation setting
- Genuine happy and positive energy to bring to our team and our guests
- Good time management skills and commitment to following policies and procedures to ensure the safety of our guests and team
- Versatile availability 24/7 roster including night shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
- Full working rights with no restrictions
