Children:
16 year old, 14 year old, 11 year old and 10 year old

Car Licence Required: Yes

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in childcare

If on a visa, must have at least 6 months remaining

A strong sense of commitment, responsibility, and reliability

Willingness to obtain and maintain:

Working With Children Check (WWCC)

First Aid & CPR Certification

Police Check

Own car required

About the family:

This warm and welcoming family based in West Pymble is seeking a calm, proactive Family Helper who enjoys becoming a genuine part of the household and supporting the family with their day-to-day routines. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with ADHD and understand that each child has their own personality, needs and communication style.

The successful Family Helper will be self-motivated, take initiative and bring a calm, regulated presence into the home. They will be comfortable adapting their approach to suit the children,



providing gentle structure and support while allowing the children to feel understood and respected.

Experience working with children with ADHD is important, with the ideal candidate confident supporting emotional regulation, transitions and everyday routines. They should be patient, observant and able to recognise when a child may need more space, reassurance or a different approach.

The family values their privacy and is looking for someone who will integrate naturally into their home and become a trusted partner within the household. The role will also include light household support related to the children, helping keep the home organised and making day-to-day family life run smoothly.

Overall, the family is looking for someone warm, reliable and genuinely caring who can build strong relationships with the children while providing consistent and thoughtful support to the whole family.
