About OAK Disability

OAK Disability is a growing NDIS service provider delivering high-quality domestic assistance, cleaning and support work to NDIS participants across South East Queensland.

We are passionate about providing reliable, personalised support to our participants and equally committed to supporting the team members who deliver these services.

We’re now looking for a highly organised, reliable and people-focused Service Coordinator to join our close-knit office team.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

You’ll be joining a supportive, down-to-earth team that genuinely enjoys working together. We’re collaborative, approachable and proud of the positive workplace culture we’ve built.

Our days are busy and fast-paced, but we keep things upbeat with music playing, plenty of teamwork, lots of laughs and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional service.

If you’re looking for a role where you’re more than “just a number,” where your contribution is noticed and where you feel valued and supported, you’ll feel right at home at OAK.

About the Role

As our Service Coordinator, you’ll play a central role in ensuring our domestic assistance and support work services run smoothly, consistently and professionally.

You’ll work closely with participants, families, support coordinators and our field-based team members to coordinate services in line with each participant’s individual needs and support arrangements.

This is a varied, hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, building relationships and keeping multiple moving parts organised. The ability to confidently prioritise urgent tasks,

manage competing demands and remain calm when plans change is essential.

As our participants rely on consistent services, reliability, punctuality and dependable attendance are fundamental requirements of this position.

Office Location: While this role is listed as based in Cornubia, our team is currently operating from our Cleveland office on Bloomfield Street. We expect to relocate to Cornubia within the next two months and are happy to discuss the transition and timing further during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities

- Schedule, confirm and manage domestic assistance and support work services for NDIS participants.

- Maintain and update calendars, rosters, schedules and booking information.

- Accurately enter and manage participant and booking data within company systems.

- Coordinate appointment changes, cancellations, staff leave and short‑notice adjustments.

- Prioritise urgent scheduling matters while continuing to manage routine daily tasks.

- Communicate service changes clearly and promptly with participants and field‑based team members.

- Respond professionally to scheduling enquiries by phone and email.

- Review participant information, correspondence and staff availability to organise suitable services.

- Assist with timesheet coordination and payroll‑related administration.

- Manage participant feedback and complaints, acting as a key liaison between participants and field‑based team members.

- Work to resolve concerns promptly and elevate matters to management when required.

- Maintain accurate records and document scheduling actions and processes.

- Provide general administrative and clerical support as required.

- Assist with reception and telephone duties, including providing routine information.

- Follow established company procedures, policies and practices.

- Maintain confidentiality and protect participant and employee information.

- Contribute positively to team outcomes and support colleagues when required.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is organised, dependable and genuinely enjoys working with people.

To succeed in this position, you’ll ideally have:

- Exceptional reliability, punctuality and commitment to your agreed working hours.

- Strong prioritisation skills and the ability to identify and respond to urgent matters.

- Excellent organisational skills and close attention to detail.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy, fast‑paced environment.

- Confidence using computer systems, calendars, databases and other office software.

- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.

- A calm and professional approach when managing unexpected changes or difficult situations.

- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team workplace.

- The ability and willingness to work from our Cornubia office.

What We Offer

- A permanent part‑time position of up to 32 hours per week.

- Flexibility to discuss and negotiate the exact working days and hours during the interview process.

- Weekly pay from $33.00 per hour plus superannuation.

- A stable, office‑based role.

- A supportive, friendly and values‑driven team environment.

- The opportunity to grow with an expanding NDIS service provider.

- Varied and meaningful work supporting people within the community.

- A workplace where your ideas, effort and contribution are genuinely valued.

Our Commitment

OAK Disability is an equal prospect employer. We welcome and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and experiences.
