About the role

Casual Counterhands assist in the preparation of meals and daily menus, serve customers, handle cash and completed EFTPOS transactions for the College Café.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have a genuine love for hospitality and customer service, be adaptable and able to work in different areas of the business, have solid communication skills and enjoy working in a team environment, can handle busy periods with a positive attitude and energy and have experience in a fast paced hospitality role.

To be considered eligible for employment, you must possess current and valid Australian work rights, such as Australian citizenship, permanent residency or an appropriate working visa. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

You must also hold, or have the ability to obtain, a Department of Education Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and a Working with Children (WWC) Card. Appointment will be subject to the satisfactory completion of any mandatory pre-employment screening requirements.
