Atlas Events is looking for an organised and proactive Event & Volunteer Coordinator to join our Sunshine Coast team.

Atlas Events delivers some of Australia’s leading mass participation running and endurance events. This role will coordinate volunteers across our event portfolio while supporting the wider team with event operations and logistics.

Atlas Events | Sunshine Coast, QLD

Part time - 3 days/week

The role

Key responsibilities include:

- Recruit and coordinate volunteers and community groups across Atlas Events.
- Manage volunteer enquiries, registrations and communications.
- Ensure volunteer numbers meet event requirements.
- Maintain volunteer agreements, sign-on documentation and records.
- Coordinate volunteer budgets, uniforms and pre-event packing.
- Prepare and distribute volunteer guides and event information.
- Coordinate volunteer captain inductions prior to each event.
- Support event setup, logistics and delivery.
- Assist with general event administration as required.
- Attend and work at Atlas Events race weekends as required.

About you





We’re looking for someone who is:

- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- A confident and friendly communicator.
- Proactive and comfortable taking ownership of tasks.
- Able to manage multiple events and deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced team setting.
- Willing to travel and work occasional weekends for events.
- Experience in events, volunteer coordination, community engagement or administration would be advantageous, but isn’t essential.
