Group CRM Enablement Manager - Morris Group
Location: Melbourne, Victoria
Employment Type: Full-time, 6-month contract, with possibility to extend.
Morris Group is seeking an experienced, commercially minded Group CRM Enablement Manager to establish a practical and scalable CRM foundation across our portfolio of businesses.
Based in Melbourne, this role will initially focus on Morris Escapes, helping the business realise value from its Klaviyo investment through cleaner customer data, stronger segmentation, priority customer journeys, improved reporting and enhanced team capability. You will play a key role in improving the relevance and effectiveness of customer communications while supporting enquiry conversion, guest engagement, repeat bookings and revenue outcomes.
About The Role
This is a hands-on strategic and operational role for someone who knows how to turn customer data, audience insight and marketing technology into relevant communications and measurable commercial results.
Working closely with Marketing Shared Services, Business Marketing Managers, operational teams, Business Systems and IT, you will audit and improve current CRM practices, establish fit-for-purpose ways of working, and enable teams to confidently deliver high-quality CRM activity.
Starting with Morris Escapes, you will build a framework that can be adapted across other Morris Group businesses. This includes identifying future CRM opportunities and developing a prioritised Group CRM roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit customer data, data flows, segmentation, consent records, email and SMS activity, automated journeys, reporting and platform configuration.
- Improve database health, including data quality, audience hygiene, consent management,
deliverability and process consistency.
- Develop and optimise customer segments, campaign workflows and personalised communications using behavioural, transactional and profile data.
- Implement and improve priority automated customer journeys to support enquiry conversion, pre-stay, post-stay, re-engagement, retention and repeat bookings.
- Establish practical CRM governance, templates, quality-assurance processes, reporting standards and documentation.
- Provide training, guidance and support to enable relevant marketing teams to independently plan, build, deploy and report on CRM campaigns and journeys.
- Monitor and report on CRM performance, including engagement, conversion, repeat bookings, deliverability and CRM-attributed revenue.
- Work with internal stakeholders and software suppliers to improve CRM integrations, data flows and reporting capability.
- Develop a prioritised Group CRM roadmap, outlining future opportunities, dependencies and recommended next steps across other Morris Group businesses.
About You
You are a proactive, detail-focused CRM qualified with strong technical capability and a practical commercial mindset. You can balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, build trust with stakeholders and clearly communicate the value of CRM initiatives.
You Will Bring
- 3+ years' experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, email marketing,
marketing automation or a related digital marketing role.
- Demonstrated expertise using Klaviyo. Experience with Mailchimp, HubSpot or similar platforms will be highly regarded.
- Strong experience creating customer segments, automated journeys, campaign workflows and personalised communications.
- A sound understanding of customer data, database management, consent, deliverability and email marketing best practice.
- Experience measuring CRM performance and translating data and insights into practical recommendations.
- A clear understanding of how CRM supports customer acquisition, conversion, retention, bookings and revenue.
- Confidence using AI tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across marketing, operational and technology teams.
- Experience in tourism, travel, hospitality, accommodation, luxury lifestyle or multi-brand businesses will be highly regarded.
