Position Details

The school invites suitable applicants to apply for a full time, ongoing Assistant Principal position, commencing January 1, 2027. St Francis of Assisi Catholic Primary School is a vibrant learning environment, catering for students from a multicultural setting in a co-educational environment from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. With approximately 470 children, our school is seeking an inspiring educator, committed to fostering a love of learning, enhancing student engagement and improving outcomes for all students. The school is a family-focused community where each individual is valued and respected in a safe and caring workplace. The successful applicant will:

- Demonstrate initiative and a solution focused approach.
- Work with others to create an inclusive and equitable learning environment.
- Have an excellent understanding of student development.
- Possess the interpersonal and organisational skills to work collaboratively with others to improve student outcomes.
- Work closely with the community including parish, parents, caregivers and various community groups and agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
- Be skilled at developing and implementing systems and structures that create safe and thriving work environments.
- Mentor and coach others to build team capacity and enhance collaboration.
- Demonstrate commitment to the ongoing development of self and others through participation in Professional Learning Communities and professional development.
- Support the Principal to ensure accountability at all levels.

Qualifications Required

- Accreditation for Leadership in Catholic Schools
- A minimum of 7 years teaching experience
- Bachelor of Education
- Current Teachers Registration with TRBWA
- Current Working With Children Check (WWWC)
