Provides senior nursing clinical leadership in the development of specialist clinical practice and service delivery within a nursing unit, team or service.

Key responsibilities

- Provides advanced skills and exercises extended autonomy of decision making while working closely with managers and other senior clinicians.
- Undertakes primary case management within a defined specialty involving both inpatient and community based services.

What you need

- Relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the relevant clinical area of their post-registration qualification.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise extended autonomy of decision making capabilities and leadership in the development of nursing specialty clinical practice and service delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise qualified knowledge and judgment in providing complex care requirements of patients/clients in the specialty field.
