At Anglicare Sydney, we have been serving people, enriching lives and strengthening communities for more than 170 years. As one of Australia's largest Christian organisations, we support thousands of older people, families, children and individuals through aged care, community services, housing and community services programs.

As a WHS Business Partner, you'll be key to our mission to enrich lives and strengthen communities. Working within our Health, Safety and Wellbeing team, you'll partner with leaders and teams across residential care, seniors communities, housing, community services and corporate functions to drive safe, healthy and thriving workplaces.

Your opportunity

As our WHS Business Partner, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing and continuously improving health, safety and wellbeing initiatives across the organisation. Partnering closely with operational leaders, you'll help build capability, improve safety performance and strengthen organisational maturity in managing WHS risks.

This is a highly visible business partnering role where you'll influence stakeholders, support cultural change and deliver practical solutions that improve workforce wellbeing and safety outcomes.

With integrity and professionalism, you will:

- Partner with leaders to identify WHS risks and develop practical risk management and wellbeing plans
- Support the delivery and continuous improvement of WHS frameworks, programs and management systems
- Build workforce capability through training, coaching, mentoring and learning initiatives
- Facilitate complex risk assessments, investigations and incident management activities
- Conduct audits, reviews and assurance activities to strengthen compliance and performance

- Analyse safety data and provide insights that support decision-making, reporting and continuous improvement
- Lead and support cultural change initiatives that promote health, safety and wellbeing across the organisation

What you'll bring

You are a proactive WHS professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders to achieve practical outcomes. You bring strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills and a passion for improving safety performance and organisational culture.

What's required:

- Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing WHS programs and initiatives
- Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations and audit activities
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills
- Experience delivering training, coaching and capability-building initiatives
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel across Anglicare sites which may include occasional overnight stay in regional areas

What's preferred:

- ICAM investigation, auditing or Training and Assessment qualifications
- Membership with AIHS or a similar qualified association
- Experience in aged care, healthcare, community services or other complex multi-site environments
- Experience leading change initiatives and continuous improvement projects

For 170 years Anglicare has been serving those in need - providing care to older people and services to the vulnerable. With our recent acquisition of Infinite Care and Autumn Aged Care, today we employ 9,500 staff and are blessed to serve alongside 1,500 volunteers. We provide meaningful opportunities and choice, both for the individuals and communities we support and the dedicated people here who make it happen.

At Anglicare, you'll get the stability and opportunities that come with a strong, well-established organisation that's ready for the future. You'll belong to a community of kind, humble and respectful people. You will also be supported to gain new knowledge, deepen your experience and expertise, and shape a rewarding career.

On top of that, here are just some of the tangible benefits you will enjoy in a career with us:
