Aboutthe Role

The BrisbaneLitigation and Dispute Resolution practice is led by Partner HarryNicolaidis, who has more than 30 years' experience in commerciallitigation and dispute resolution. The team represents public andprivate corporations across a range of industries, includingconstruction, mining, energy, healthcare, property, retail,hospitality and financial services.

Workingclosely with the partner and the broader team, you will gainexposure to a diverse range of litigation and dispute advice work,including:

- ComplexCommercial Contract Disputes – Acting for clients in a range ofcontractual disputes across a broad range of commercialsectors.
- Shareholder &Partnership; Disputes – Advising on oppression claims,derivative actions, breaches of shareholder agreements anddisputes arising from the breakdown of joint ventures andcorporate partnerships.
- Injunctive & EmergencyRelief – Drafting and responding to applications for urgentinterim relief, including freezing orders, search orders andother equitable remedies.




- Regulatory &Investigations; – Supporting clients facing regulatoryinvestigations and enforcement action, advising on civilliability exposure arising from regulatory findings, andhandling related civil claims.
- RealEstate Disputes – Acting in contentious matters arising fromproperty transactions, landlord and tenant relationships andconstruction contracts.
- Negligence Actions –Representing clients in negligence claims.

In this role,you will assist in delivering strategic legal advice, managingdisputes from inception through to resolution, drafting keydocuments, and appearing in courts and tribunals as appropriate.You will work directly with clients and have the opportunity totake ownership of matters while being supported by experiencedpractitioners.

AboutYou

To besuccessful in this role, you will have:

- 2 to 5years' post-admission experience gained within a recognisedcommercial litigation practice
- Strongtechnical and analytical skills
- Theability to build strong client relationships and workeffectively as part of a team
- Acommercial mindset and keen attention to detail
- Initiative, soundjudgment and a willingness to take ownershipofmatters

You are acollaborative team player who enjoys working in a high-performingenvironment and is committed to delivering exceptional outcomes forclients. You are also eager to continue developing your litigationand advocacy skills and to contribute to the ongoing success of thepractice.
