An opportunity has arisen to join a high-growth Australian financial services group as it continues to expand its commercial and property finance capability.

This is fundamentally a key credit role focused predominantly on assessing and structuring commercial property-backed transactions, working across a broad range of borrowers, assets and funding requirements.

The business has significant growth ambitions and provides flexible commercial funding solutions outside the constraints of traditional bank lending. Transactions can range from smaller commercial facilities through to more complex property-backed exposures.

Working closely with senior credit and lending stakeholders, you will be involved across the full credit assessment process, including:

- Assessing commercial property and property-backed lending opportunities
- Detailed analysis of borrower financials, cash flow, serviceability and credit risk
- Reviewing property valuations, LVRs, security positions and proposed facility structures
- Preparing high-quality credit submissions and recommendations
- Undertaking due diligence across borrowers, sponsors, assets and underlying transactions
- Structuring facilities, covenants and appropriate risk mitigants
- Working closely with BDMs, brokers, borrowers and senior credit decision-makers




- Monitoring existing exposures and supporting variations, reviews and refinancing requirements
- Contributing to the continued development of credit processes as the commercial lending platform grows

We are open on exact background and level, but you will ideally bring experience across commercial property finance, property credit, business lending, corporate/commercial banking or private credit.

You may currently be a Credit Analyst, Assistant/Relationship Manager, Senior Credit Analyst, Property Credit Analyst, Commercial Analyst or Credit Manager looking for greater transaction exposure and the opportunity to work within a growing and ambitious platform.

Experience assessing property-backed transactions, understanding security structures and analysing more complex commercial borrowers will be particularly valuable.
