- Employment type: Ongoing full-time, 35 hours per week

- Salary – $133,348 - $146,945 pa plus employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Your role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Communications & Production Manager who will be part of establishing a new Communications & Production team within Multilingual NSW.

This role drives the provision of strategic expertise, leadership and performance reporting of the communications, production and multilingual service offering. This position acts as the primary relationship manager for government agencies and key stakeholders, leading service planning, project delivery and customer engagement activities to ensure integrated solutions meet client objectives.

In the first few months, this role focuses on the design and establishment of new service offerings, building a team that can deliver on program needs, and be part of a growth phase that delivers communications for the multicultural communities of NSW.

What you’ll do

- Lead, advise and manage all aspects of Multilingual NSW communications advisory and production services
- Provide expert multicultural communications advice to government agencies including multilingual communications readiness and engagement approaches for culturally and linguistically diverse communities
- Oversee the delivery of communications, production and multilingual projects, ensuring services are delivered within agreed quality, budget and timeframe requirements
- Develop and maintain customer experience, feedback and performance measurement frameworks,



including approved methods for collecting and analysing; and report on customer satisfaction data and project outcomes to support service improvement and informed decision-making
- Manage the engagement, performance and quality of external suppliers, agencies and specialist providers
- Lead a team through change and growth, alongside periods of high demand and operational pressure

What we’re looking for

- Demonstrated experience designing, delivering or advising on communications, engagement or campaign initiatives targeting diverse audiences within a complex stakeholder environment.
- Understanding of multicultural communications principles, culturally responsive engagement approaches and the communication needs of culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
- Experience managing communications, production or service delivery projects across multiple channels and formats, including the engagement of external suppliers and specialist providers.
- Demonstrated experience monitoring service performance, customer feedback and operational outcomes to inform continuous improvement and evidence-based decision-making
- Demonstrated leadership in establishing and leading a team through growth and change
