Salary - GR 9/10 $133,348 - $146,945 plus superannuation
Your role
Homes NSW leads work to deliver more social and affordable housing, end the cycle of homelessness, and deliver quality public housing to our 262,000 tenants across NSW.
As a single division, we are streamlining services to ensure we meet the needs of the people we support, with empathy, efficiency and effectiveness. We are elevating the voice of people with lived experience of social housing, housing services and homelessness.
You will develop, manage and implement a broad range of programs and projects across the team to support and improve service delivery.
What you'll do
The Senior Project Officer plays a critical role in the coordination and oversight of priority matters within the PAM Business area, including:
- Coordinating responses to Parliamentary and Ministerial requests, including Questions on Notice (QONs), Budget Estimates, and other time-sensitive deliverables.
- Coordination and drafting of responses to Ministerial and Departmental correspondence.
- Coordination of input into Media related matters.
- Supporting strategic projects as required across the Business area.
- Provides leadership, mentoring and coaching within the team
- Working with members of the team on their training and development
What we’re looking for

- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
- Clear thinkers and strong writers who can spot risks, gaps, and missed opportunities
- Confident collaborators who can bring people together and align moving parts.
- Organised and proactive problem-solvers
- Familiar with government processes, including briefings, Ministerials or executive coordination
