Key responsibilities
- You will provide advice on APS recruitment legislation, policy and merit-based selection principles, prepare high-quality briefs and reports for senior audiences, and manage relationships with external recruitment and assessment providers.
- As the Assistant Manager, Recruitment, you will lead a small recruitment team and oversee the delivery of high-quality, timely and compliant recruitment services across the CDPP.
- You will partner with senior leaders and key stakeholders to provide expert recruitment advice, develop sourcing and attraction strategies aligned with the CDPP Workforce Plan and Employee Value Proposition, and use workforce and candidate insights to inform recruitment approaches.
What you need
- You will bring demonstrated experience leading end-to-end recruitment in a high-volume or complex workplace and a strong understanding of APS merit-based recruitment principles and relevant legislation.
- You will also be adaptable, organised and solutions-focused, with strong project management skills and a genuine interest in improving the way recruitment services are delivered.
- You are an experienced recruitment professional who can balance strategic thinking with the delivery of high-quality operational recruitment outcomes.
