In this role, you will lead a team responsible for investigating alleged breaches of environmental legislation, overseeing case management, stakeholder engagement and compliance activities.
Key responsibilities
- You will support workforce capability, manage compliance programs and operational risks, competing priorities, coordinate responses to high-profile enquiries, and foster a positive, high-performing team culture that delivers effective regulatory outcomes.
- As Manager Assurance, you will oversee complex and high-risk investigations, provide expert regulatory advice, manage emerging risks and stakeholder relationships, and drive consistent, risk-based decision-making to support the protection of the setting and uphold environmental legislation.
- Lead a high-performing team delivering environmental compliance and assurance outcomes across Western Australia.
What you need
- Significant experience resolving complex compliance and regulatory issues using sound judgement and risk-based decision-making.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build productive relationships and provide strategic advice, options and recommendations to senior leaders.
- Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying legislation, policy and regulatory frameworks, and contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
