## Category Manager - FF and EApply: Hybrid: Brisbane: Full time: Posted Today: JR We are seeking an experienced **Category Manager (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment)** to lead the end-to-end delivery of FFE programs supporting capital purchasing across the UnitingCare Hospitals (UCH) portfolio, and as suitable support hospital developments and strategic capital projects. Working at the intersection of procurement, project delivery and healthcare operations, you'll play a critical role in ensuring facilities are ready to provide safe, high-quality patient care. You will partner with senior clinical, operational, financial, executive, and supplier stakeholders to define requirements, manage clinical and operational needs, negotiate strong commercial terms, and deliver positive FF&E; outcomes.**Your part in our UnitingCare team**Reporting to the General Manager Procurement & Supply, you will lead the planning, sourcing, commercial analysis and negotiation, coordination and delivery of furniture, fixtures and equipment programmes across a range of capital sourcing projects. Working closely with clinicians, department leaders, non-clinical functions, Executives, suppliers and contractors, you'll ensure successful procurement outcomes while balancing clinical, operational and financial requirements.In this role, you will:* Develop FF&E; procurement plans based on capital purchasing needs.* Facilitate stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering and equipment selection.* Lead quotation, tender and sourcing processes, including supplier evaluation and commercial negotiations.* Support capital expenditure budgets, forecast project expenditure and optimise value across FFE programmes.* Lead commercial negotiations and supplier selection, ensuring best value for money is delivered for our Hospitals,



including consideration of capital costs along with ongoing operational expenditure costs, including service agreements and associated consumable costs as relevant.* Identify opportunities to improve clinical consistency, reduce lifecycle costs and maximise commercial leverage.* Support relevant stakeholders to ensure procured equipment is appropriately commissioned, input into asset registers and relevant preventative maintenance schedules are established.* Drive standardisation, supplier optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.**What makes a difference for us?*** Demonstrated experience conducting commercial analysis of market offers and conducting commercial negotiations with suppliers.* Experience working within private hospitals or other like healthcare environments* Robust knowledge of procurement governance, market engagement, commercial negotiation and contract management.* Proven ability to deliver value optimisation outcomes.* Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence clinical, operational, executive and other stakeholders.* Experience managing suppliers,
