An exciting opportunity is available to join South Pacific Private as a Full-Time Nurse Unit Manager .
About the role:
As a Nurse Unit Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Nursing Department, working closely with the Director of Nursing to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care. You will manage and inspire a skilled team, drive quality improvement, ensure compliance, and act as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.
This full-time Monday-Friday role requires availability for 37.5 hours per week + rotating on-call roster
About you
- AHPRA registered nurse with 4+ years experience.
- Strong leadership skills along with the ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary environment.
- You will have exceptional communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent client care and customer service.
- Management or relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded but not essential.
- Experience or exposure to managing clinical staff recruitment, rostering and performance management.
- Knowledge of therapeutic processes and 12-step and evidence-based treatment programs
Standard requirements:
- Professional integrity, adherence to a professional code of ethics and confidentiality requirements as per SPP policy and NSQHS requirements
- Robust interpersonal communication skills and professional boundaries
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment effectively, respecting difference and diversity
