An exciting chance is available for an experienced Oracle EBS Functional Specialist to join a large enterprise environment supporting critical procurement, supplier management and warehousing operations.

This role will suit someone who enjoys working closely with business stakeholders, improving supply chain processes and acting as the bridge between business requirements and technology solutions. You'll play a key role in optimising Oracle EBS functionality, improving data integrity and driving operational efficiency across procurement and inventory management functions.

The Opportunity

As the Oracle EBS Functional Specialist, you will act as the subject matter expert across key Oracle EBS R12 modules, supporting end-to-end supply chain processes spanning procurement, supplier management, inventory and warehouse operations. You'll work closely with business users to identify improvements, resolve complex issues and deliver enhancements that support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the SME for Oracle EBS R12 modules including Purchasing (PO), iProcurement, Inventory Management (INV), Work in Progress (WIP) and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Support warehouse and inventory operations, including inventory movements, cycle counting, material transactions and sub-inventory management.




- Partner with Procurement and Warehouse stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into functional specifications.
- Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test script creation and system enhancement activities.
- Provide Tier 2/3 functional support for procurement, warehousing, material planning and inventory-related issues.
- Support system upgrades, patches and new module implementations.
- Develop documentation and deliver training to business users to encourage adoption and effective system usage.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Proven experience supporting Oracle EBS R12 in a functional capacity.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Purchasing, Supplier Management and Inventory modules.
- Experience across procurement processes including requisitions, purchase orders, approval hierarchies and supplier onboarding.
- Understanding of warehousing and supply chain operations including inventory management, shipping, receiving and material planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.

Highly Regarded

- Oracle WMS (Warehouse Management System) experience.
- SQL and PL/SQL knowledge.
- Experience within manufacturing, maintenance or complex supply chain environments.
- Previous involvement in Oracle implementations, upgrades or major enhancement projects.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline.
