Your communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience in a regulatory or complaints environment will be key to your success in this role.
Key responsibilities
- As the Complaints Officer, you will form part of a energetic team responsible for managing routine complaints within the Building Compliance Directorate, ensuring timely resolution in line with legislative requirements.
- Drawing on your experience in dealing with disputes and your ability to review evidence, you will play a vital role in supporting fair, consistent and well-informed decisions.
- You will bring to the role your expertise in investigating complaints, your time management skills, and your ability to collaborate effectively and provide sound recommendations to support quality outcomes.

What you need
- To be eligible for a permanent appointment, applicants must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia at the time of application.
- To be eligible for fixed term employment you must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia or have a valid visa to live and work in Australia for the duration of the fixed term employment at the time of application.
