About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Diesel Fitter to join our Queensland operations and play an important role in keeping one of Australia’s most diverse heavy plant fleets operating safely, reliably and efficiently.

This is far from a typical diesel fitting role. You’ll work across a highly specialised fleet, ranging from 5T excavators through to 200T demolition excavators , along with piling rigs, drilling equipment, specialised demolition attachments, crushing and screening plants and heavy civil equipment.

The variety is extensive, including wheel loaders, skid steers, water carts, hydraulic shears, multi-processors, pulverisers, drill rigs, rotary, CFA and bored piling rigs, hydraulic power packs, mobile crushers, screening plants and much more.

What You’ll Bring

Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter, Plant Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Demonstrated experience maintaining heavy earthmoving, mining, demolition or civil construction equipment

Robust hydraulic diagnostic and fault-finding skills

Current unrestricted driver's licence

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Experience with Caterpillar, Hitachi, Komatsu, Volvo, Liebherr or Sennebogen equipment

Experience working on piling rigs or drilling equipment

HR licence

Working at Heights and/or Confined Space certification

Relevant High Risk Work Licences
