Higher Education Officer Level 5| $84,599 - $93,366 p.a.
Location: Bedford Park / Kaurna Country
About the Role
Working collaboratively with project teams and reporting to the Marketing and Data Lead ( CareSearch Group), the Marketing Officer (Digital Engagement) contributes to the delivery of marketing, communications and stakeholder engagement activities across the CareSearch Group's nationally funded projects, with a focus on digital marketing, online audiences and website optimisation. More specifically, the incumbent supports audience engagement, resource promotion, campaign implementation and service improvement activities, disseminating content through a range of channels.
This role is also responsible for:
- Supporting implementation of digital marketing campaigns across web, email and social channels.
- Assisting with audience segmentation and targeting activities.
- Monitoring website performance, user engagement and campaign metrics.
- Supporting search engine optimisation (SEO) and website discoverability initiatives.
- Contributing to website enhancement and user experience improvement activities.

This position makes a significant contribution to the University's strategic plan to changing 10 million lives, Every One Matters, by 2035 through awareness and audience engagement, utilisation and impact of the CareSearch Group's digital products, resources and services.
About You
Your excellence in communication both written and verbal and demonstrated interpersonal capabilities, enable you to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and projects.
Your ability to adapt to changing roles and responsibilities,
demonstrates your flexibility, organisational and problem-solving abilities, enabling you to manage competing priorities, whilst demonstrating your initiative and commitment to continuous improvement.
You will also be able to demonstrate:
- Ability to create engaging content across multiple channels.
- Experience using Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly InDesign, and digital collaboration tools.
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies, platforms and AI-enabled tools.
- General understanding of SEO, website optimisation and online audience development.
You will also have completed a degree in marketing, communications, public relations, digital media or a related discipline without subsequent relevant work experience; or equivalent combination of experience and/or education and/or training.
