Where the occupant of the position is medication endorsed, administer medications in accordance with NSW Health and Far West LHD policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the evaluation of nursing care through provision of information, documentation and reporting changes in patient's conditions and participation in Unit meetings and discussions.
- Work within own scope of practice and seek support, learning and education where required.
- Support through advanced education & training.
- This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.
