Put your fault-finding skills to work keeping fitness equipment running and customers training. Work across customer sites with a company van, tools and uniform supplied, plus product training to build your equipment knowledge.

Whether you already service fitness equipment or bring experience as a mechanic, maintenance technician or equipment repairer, this role offers the chance to apply your skills in a different setting.

The opportunity

Based on the Gold Coast, you’ll maintain, diagnose and repair fitness equipment at customer and partner locations across southeast Queensland. You’ll be a familiar face for customers: understanding the problem, explaining the repair and helping them get the most from their equipment.

The work combines mechanical and electrical fault-finding, preventative maintenance and practical customer support. You’ll manage your service schedule in coordination with the wider team, with a focus on safe equipment, effective repairs and transparent communication.

What you’ll do

- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and technical faults and carry out effective repairs within your training and authorisations.
- Complete routine servicing and preventative maintenance to support equipment reliability and reduce avoidable downtime.
- Explain findings and next steps clearly and help customers understand correct equipment operation and care.
- Keep accurate records of service work and repairs so jobs can be followed through to completion.
- Coordinate with management and colleagues on service schedules, workloads and issues requiring further support.
- Keep track of parts carried in your service van and follow stock-control procedures.




- Work safely at every visit and share feedback on recurring faults and opportunities to improve service.

What you’ll bring

- Experience as a service technician, mechanic, maintenance technician or in a similar practical technical role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, a methodical approach to fault-finding and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently, organise your day and follow company procedures.
- Clear communication and a professional, customer-focused approach.
- A current driver’s licence and the ability to travel to customer locations.
- The ability to safely handle the equipment and components involved in the role.
- A willingness to learn new equipment, systems and technology.

Fitness equipment experience is an advantage, not a requirement.

Automotive, mechanical, electrical, engineering or equipment-servicing experience is highly regarded, as are relevant trade qualifications or technical certifications. Product training is provided.
